Who we are?

SDI is a national NGO/MFI implementing integrated socio-economic programmes for the poor and extreme poor of Bangladesh for the last 3 decades. SDI currently operates in 56 Upazilas of 14 districts. SDI has MF portfolio of Taka 2 billion (USD 25 million). It has a grassroots partners numbering 1,05,000 poor and extreme poor.Besides PKSF, SDI has project partnerships with the OXFAM UK, Govt of Netherlands, Govt of Bangladesh, IFAD, EU, Embassy of Japan, World Bank.
Besides Micro Finance Programme, SDI had acquired experience and expertise on implementing programmes like non-formal primary education, pre-primary education, after school education, MCH, PHC, Water and Sanitation, WASH, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries development, Rural Re-Construction, Climate Change Resilience and Adaptation, pulling GO, NGO and Private sector resources.

FTC is a three-storied fully furnished training center located adjacent to Sutipara Nannar road. Sutipara of dhamrai upazila and about half a kilometer from sutipara bus stopage on  Dhaka. Aricha highway
